Start your music teaching journey with the Early Years Piano By Ear Teaching Certification from the Victorian College of Music and Drama. You don't need to have Grade 8 to teach music. We will equip you with all you need to make a career change in providing better piano education to young Malaysians,

This certificate provides you with the skills to teach piano to children in an early years setting. This course will build up your English speaking and writing skills, build confidence in interacting with children, understand how children learn and the role music education plays in a child's learning journey.

WHO SHOULD ENROL

Anyone ages 17 and above who do not or have minimum music knowledge

Interested to teach ages 3 to 8 years old

Play school teachers who wish to teach piano and music in their Play School

IN THIS PROGRAM, YOU WILL COMPLETE UNDER OUR GUIDANCE
- Foundation of Piano playing and Elementary theory of music
- Rhythm, Ear training and Melodic dictations
- Application of teaching methods in class
- Basic improvisation of chords in popular music
- Introduction to Jazz music and basic elements
- Discussion, experience sharing and sessions
- Class control management
- A discussion and assessment with an examiner via zoom link
